OVER GENERATION opened up the show. CIMA talked about the recent lower back issues he & Gamma have had. However! They were here in Korakuen. Unlike Punch Tominaga. PT was out with the flu, which is serious. It is good reason to miss a show. But the rest of OG were informed of this when they saw it posted on the DG website. He didn’t bother to tell them directly. Poor form, PT. In any case, this leaves Eita without a partner for his match. It was decided that either Yamamura or Ishida would pull double duty. CIMA would have a quiz, and the winner gets the spot. His first question was who was the first idol he ever saw live in concert. Despite several hints and saying 90% of her name, they could not guess Ranran Suzuki. They also couldn’t answer the more contemporary idol related follow up question, once again showing the gap between the Old Generation and the Young Generation. In the end, Yamamura won a Rock Paper Scissors contest to be Eitas’ partner.

Eita once again pleaded with DK to be his teacher. DK was annoyed at the timing. This was before the match, and he was still tied up in streamers. What kind of person is Eita? They argued over the matter for awhile, with Eita and the fans trying to pressure him into saying yes. Eventually, he demanded the match start.

Verserk invaded afterwards. Kotoka & Doi mocked PT for not being there. He didn’t even bother to update his blog to apologize for not showing up. OVER GENERATION is basically the same without him so he may as well retire. That gave Doi a great idea for the next Korakuen Hall show. The “If Punch Tominaga Loses He Has to Immediately Retire Special”. It will be a 6 Man Tag. For Verserk, it would be himself & Kotoka & …..The crowd goaded him into picking Problem Dragon. Since that was essentially making it a handicap match, OVER GENERATION was not allowed to put CIMA or Gamma into the match. Eita & PT were the first two. DK nominated himself to be the third. He told Eita that this was the sense of timing he had told him about. More bickering over the teacher/pupil thing ensued before OG left. Verserk turned their attention to their semi-final & main event matches. Doi called out MONSTER EXPRESS, Kzy, & YASSHI.

Doi mocked the Italian Connection alumni reunion. Yoshino shot back that if this was a reunion party Doi should find his white pants and baseball bat for the match.
“brother” YASSHI? The Italian Connection? Second Doi? YAMATO had no idea what any of these things were. He did some internet research on this YASSHI guy. He was supposed to be this experienced veteran, yet he was the same age as YAMATO. He was coming back to face the strongest Twin Gate champion team in history. He better be prepared.
YAMATO then introduced the very strong but former Dream Gate champion Shingo Takagi, which caused some infighting within Verserk. Takagi ran down Shachihoko BOY as usual in advance of the main event.

Susumu greeted the fans as Dream Gate champion. However, not all things were good. Mochizuki lost his unit last month. Susumu asked him how he was holding up. Mochizuki didn’t really have much to say about that, but he did feel pretty nostalgic after this match between the four. Maybe they should team up next month? Mochizuki called out anybody who dared to face them. No one answered. Saito poked fun at him. Mochizuki said since they were original 4 members of M2K he was expecting Crazy MAX or Do FIXER to answer the challenge. In the end, they decided to team together and seek out suitable opponents.

YASSHI ran wild with the red box at the end of the match, striking YAMATO & Doi, and eventually the referee. Doi was furious with Yoshino for bringing this guy to DG. What the hell was wrong with him? The Twin Gate champions left.
Yoshino asked him why he ruined his return to DG after 11 years with a disqualification loss. YASSHI asked him what he was expecting? He was “brother” YASSHI and this was his style. The same “brother” YASSHI that was fired from this very company 11 years ago for behavioural problems and neglect of duty. He wasn’t going to change who he was just because he was in DG. He will always be himself, no matter where he goes. He left. Yoshino was at a loss but promised the fans he would persuade YASSHI to come around.

The original M2K quartet hit the ring immediately after the main ended. They were in a particularly happy mood and provoking Verserk. YAMATO was flabbergasted and confused. The match was barely over and they were all up in their faces. What did these strange old men want? Mochizuki said that he wanted them to be their opponents. YAMATO was totally lost. Opponents for who? For what? What the hell is going on? Mochizuki tried to explain the situation but YAMATO wasn’t following. In the end, the match was made but YAMATO told Mochizuki that if Verserk win then he would have to properly and clearly explain why the match had happened. Verserk left.

Saito brought up that while they used to be M2K together, three members of the team were Jimmyz. So for one night only, perhaps Mochizuki should become one. After thinking for all of 10 seconds about it, he christened him Jimmy Masaaki. Saito brought up Don Fujii acting as Jimmyz Train conductor last year. Mochizuki would have to find something similar. Mochizuki said he would be the driver, but Saito arbitrarily decided he would be the person who sells snacks on the train.

Now that all this was settled, Tozawa blew up at them for coming out after a match that had nothing to do with them. Yoshino noted there was still something important left to be settled. Kzy promised to answer the invitation from MONSTER EXPRESS today. Kzy said that he was glad to been offered the spot but he had to decline. There are several things he would like to do before finding a unit that he can only do while unaffiliated. For example, he hasn’t teamed with CIMA or Stalker Ichikawa much in the past.

Yoshino was stunned. After the great way in which things ended last month, what a crummy end this was. brother shock, now Kzy shock. He didn;t have the will to talk anymore. Tozawa gave him a tight embrace and consoled him. This is pro wrestling. Sometimes good things happen. A lot of times bad things happen. That was DRAGON GATE.
