OVER GENERATION greeted the fans for the usual First Gong Kids segment. CIMA joked with Tominaga about the retirement match today. If he loses he can just come back as Shit Tominaga or shave his head and be Skinhead Tominaga. Plenty of options.

Big R had something very important to say, after pinning CIMA. Ohhhhhh! Ohhhhhhhhhhhh! Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

KING OF GATE was announced at intermission. This year it will be a 24 man round robin league. There will be 4 blocks of 6 competitors. It will begin on 5/8 in Osaka and run all the way to the Hakata Star Lanes double header on 6/11 & 12. The blocks and several matches were announced. We will have full details on this shortly.

Doi went after Kotoka again, after losing the semi-final.

Eita once again pestered DK to mentor him. DK wavered. There really isn’t anyone else in DG doing his style right now. He’d consider it. Maybe they can team more, and take things on a case by case basis. Eita went even further and offered him a spot in OVER GENERATION. The other members consented to it, so DK agreed. He noted that there were no title holders in OG right now. Eita & DK resolved to chase the Twin Gate together.

Takagi & YAMATO could not get on the same page, with numerous instances of friendly fire and outright attacking of one another. Things broke down after the match, with Takagi & Kotoka on one side and YAMATO, Doi, & Tanizaki on the other. Kong finally chose a side and went with Takagi, prompting YAMATO to ask him if he knew what a mistake that was. Kong said that Takagi was the Dream Gate champion and that is not someone you oppose. Doi lost his patience. The unit was split down the middle, 3 vs. 3. Perfect numbers to have a match to settle things.
GM Yagi capitalized on this opportunity. He was making a match. But he wasn’t making a regular 6 man tag. 6 entrants was the exact number he wanted for the cage match at DEAD or ALIVE, so all 6 were now entered into the match. Kong protested, but Mondai Ryu of all people stood up to him. Kong said he wasn’t going to be able to climb any cage, so Mondai Ryu should take his place. Mondai Ryu basically told him that if you don’t start any shit, there won’t be any shit. He got himself into it, so he can get himself out of it. They had an impromptu singles match where the loser would be put into the match. Mondai Ryu reversed the Cyber Bomb for an upset win.
With the entrants decided, it was time for Yagi to add the special rules. There are many different people in the world. Some people have fast growing hair. For some people, it doesn’t grow back if you shave it. So, to make things fair to everyone, the loser of this match will have to keep stay bald or maskless for a period of no less than one year.
Mochizuki noted that with the cage match entirely Verserk members it was probably going to be a sour ending regardless of who lost. Doi raged at him. This was a Verserk problem. Everyone else should mind their business.
YAMATO had choice words for Takagi. They would be facing each other at Korakuen next month for KING OF GATE. It doesn’t matter what kind of hairstyle either of them had when that time comes. YAMATO was done with the tag scene and was looking to return to the top of singles competition. There is only one goal, and it is currently around Takagis’ waist.

After all this, the Jimmyz had to remind the fans that they actually won the match. They closed things out with a Jimmyz Train.
