Antias took over the ring before the second match, with Shimizu leading. The strongest unit in Dragon Gate is back in the most worthless city in Kansai, which is apparently the hometown of the most worthless wrestler in Dragon Gate, Naruki Doi. Yoshida agreed with him. Nara was the most worthless city in Osaka, no, the ENTIRE WORLD. Yoshida is a big city man so he prefers Osaka. As the uncrowned Dream Gate champion, it was his duty to show these people the power of brute force wrestling. No skill required. Roll up? Shut up!
They continued the attack on Jason after the match until Dragon Kid in a MaxiMuM shirt made the save. Eita was confused. He knew he had to fight with Doi, Yoshino, & Ben in the main event. But who was the tiny old man? Is this what it has come down to for MaxiMuM? Oh well. Easy pickings for the main event. Yoshida shouted Roll up? Shut up! at Yoshino. Doi asked DK what he was doing. He’s not in MaxiMuM. Why was he out helping Jason. He appreciates the help in the main event to make up the numbers, but being a member of a team and a member of a unit are different things. DK said that despite what DoiDoi says, he is practically MaxiMuM. Antias was still around, so Eita asked for confirmation. Is he a MaxiMuM member or not? He’s practically MaxiMuM! WTF does Practically MaxiMuM mean? Practically means …. he’s all but officially a member…you know. Anyway. This is the one time a year DoiDoi gets to come home so they weren’t going to let Antias pull any of their usual stunts. DK promised the show would end with him & the other MaxiMuM members as the winners!

Susumu had some questions for Kagetora. On September 9th in Sendai, himself, Horiguchi, & Kzy had a Triangle Gate title defense against Kage, Maria, & U-T. So…Kagetora went down without much of a problem today. On top of that, out of the 3 challengers he hasn’t seen Maria or U-T in quite some time. Are they really serious about this challenge?
Kage took exception with his “went down without much of a problem” comment. There was a big problem. He lost today because his own partner Don Fujii accidentally dropped a big elbow on him. It really hurt and that is why he lost. Susumu didn’t have to do anything. Maria & U-T haven’t been around because they are in a secret location doing some extra hard training. Everyone knows that Kage & Maria are more than capable of taking the titles. What they may not know is the fire that has been lit inside U-T. He’s now capable of making any one of the champions tap out to his llave. He had full confidence he would do just that and bring the titles to Tribe Vanguard.

YAMATO questioned Don Fujii’s challenger qualifications. He called him out to answer. Saito warned him that he shouldn’t be angering Mr. Don Fujii right now. Whatever. Why isn’t he out here? Is he scared? Fujii called from the back that he was busy replying to someone on Twitter (@Don_Fujii0706). YAMATO was disappointed but said it was par for the course. If that is the kind of partner Saito was going to pick, why even bother challenging for the titles at all? Saito told him he should know better than anyone. When it comes time for Fujii to turn it on, especially against someone like YAMATO, he can be unstoppable. In Sendai on September 9th, Fujii Volcano was going to erupt. The magma was bubbling bubbling bubbling inside of him and it was going to burst out and rain down on YAMATO & Hulk. As for Hulk…he sure has been quiet during this. He had some thoughts to share. That’s fine. We all know he sucks at talking, so he can keep his mouth shut. A gift of politeness from the challenger team. He wouldn’t want their championship aura to crumble by letting Hulk say anything. Sendai is going to see a side of Ryo Saito & Don Fujii that they have never seen before. YAMATO said Fujii is going to wish he was back in the opening matches bullying rookies.

Eita disputed the three count. Kanda kicked out at two. What a farce this was. Naruki Doi Homecoming? Who cares. Eita is way better than him. Whatever. DK was going to pay for this. He wasn’t going to stop until he puts an end to his career.

Doi celebrated to close the show. He thanked his MaxiMuM teammates for the help today, then separately gave smaller thanks to Dragon Kid who is not a MaxiMuM member. DK thought this was good a place as any to officially join. Doi refused. MaxiMuM were going to close the show now, so he should take the hint and leave now. He kept saying “practically” earlier. There is a long way between practically and officially. Please leave now. He wouldn’t. Why was DoiDoi so against this? Doi pleaded for him to stop with the DoiDoi thing. It’s embarrassing. Ok, how about NaruNaru? This continued on for a while until Doi insisted he be allowed to give his closing speech. DK told him to go ahead, it was important for him, as a MaxiMuM member, for them to have clear lines of communication. He wants to get to know Yoshino. Maybe they could go out for dinner soon. Maybe he & Ben-K can do some tag matches!
Doi was frustrated beyond belief at this point. In any case, his 18th year in wrestling has been capped by a big win at home. He considers this the real start of his 19th year. They only come to Nara once a year, but the fans and the locals are always so kind and welcoming. Do they want to see them come back again next year? The fans responded with a resounding yes, so he announced the date of his 2019 homecoming for August 10, 2019.
