Aagan Iisou formally reunited after the main event. YASSHI and Owashi called the other 3 into the ring afterward the match. YASSHI said that they trained and studied in other groups, apart from each other for over a year now, and that they should unite again.

Mr. Kawabata of course had a lot to say. After a lot of twists and turns, he warned fans that this was still the experimental stage. His great hope in the end, is for all participating players to not enter other rings, and El Dorado to be full time.

They also announced that they were officially seperating from Ultimo Dragons' influence. Much like Dragon Gate did, Principle Asai is now out of the picture.

This show airs on Samurai on 5/7. The next show is 5/17.

*Ryo fails in V1, Susumu becomes the 5th champion

-Michael and Daniel performed as the Frolida characters for the last time. They officially dismissed afterwards. Mishima wore a shirt that said "Kaisan" on it, which means Dismissal/Break up. Iwasa put on a purple gaku-ran, officially joining Tozawa-juku. As a parting gift to his partner of 3 years, he allowed him to return to Raimu Mishima, under a character restoration. Tozawa and Iwasa then invited Mori to join them, but he refused. Much like when Iwasa courted him to Iwasa Gundam.
-Naoki attacked MPT during his entrance, taking him out. He appealed for a singles with Genki, and the match was changed. After a short, wild brawl, MPT returned to help Genki win. He and Genki ended their rivalry and became friends.
-The Brave Gate match was mostly clean, with only small Tanizaki interference. All of the Doi group was out with Yoshino though.
-After the match, Doi and Co. took over the ring. CIMA came out, which began a long MC battle. Naoki took a Schwein. CIMA was in top form, insulting Dois' costume and taunting him with a bat. He told Doi he should go back to 2nd base. After what was called an amazing talk battle by CIMA and Doi, the stipulation was added to the semi-final that if CIMAs' side won, Doi would return to Second Doi, Yoshino to YOSSINO, and Naoki to the surfer character.
-Stalkers' announced weight was 42kg. Yoshie was billed as 160kg... K-ness wore a pink mask and seconded Yoshie. After the usual Stalker match, which saw a ridiculously futile attempt at the Ina Bauer German, Yoshie took the microphone. He congratulated K-ness on passing his 10 year mark, and invited him to tag. President Okamura appeared here, K-ness promised a return to the ring within the year, but Okamura hoped he could return for World.
-Magnum and Mochi promised that they would re-schedule the original tag match for when Tenryu is healthy again. This match didn't garner great reviews.
-The Ryo/Susumu history was chronicled during intermission, including their 2001 match from the same building.
-Hulk vs. Shingo won match of the night praise. Reports have been raving about it. Hulk received his Dream Gate key for the 5/7 challenge.
-The Blood war was a violent, heated brawl. All of Dois' group was out, and CIMA had Jack Evans with him. CIMA and Gamma took turns disgracing the other with spraypaint. CIMA painted Gammas' hair black, and later put HAGE on his back (which is an insult to anyone not named Genki). Gamma countered by painting "Busu" on CIMA. This means "ugly woman" and is a very very crude insult. The final moments saw it totally break down. Naoki mis-aimed and hit Doi, but Yoshino intruded to stop a Schwein. Kanda stepped in and took out Yoshino. After a protein and chair attack, Doi used another chair with the Bakatare. Dois' team won the Blood name, but....
-After the match Doi renounced the name, and formed a new unit called "Muscle Outlaws". They called Kishiwada and he joined them. The fans didn't seem to react well to the name, since it's ... interesting. They began a beat down on CIMA and Fujii until Magnum and Mochi came to save. After some brawling, and an appeal to Kanda, a match for 5/10 Korakuen was made. The original generation stars; CIMA, Mochizuki, Magnum, and Fujii vs. the Muscle Outlaws; Doi, Yoshino, Naoki, and Gamma. Shingo was not involved.
-Susumu finally won the big one, after a 20+ minute back and forth match. Mochi and the rest of FM2K came to congratulate him, Ryo rolled out of the ring and was down. He thanked Ryo and the fans, but Ryo left without a handshake. He returned Ryos' nameplate from the belt, and promised to defend it until they had another match. The final shot was Susumu posing with the belt on the rampway.

In the aftermath:

CIMA will be keeping the Blood Generation name, and predictably will be adding Evans and Matt Sydal when he arrives, for the stretch run to World.

Shingo will be leaving to the US for an indefinite time after 5/7. He said he no longer had the desire to wrestle in DG. It sounds very similar to when Milano left, but does not look to be a similar situation. Shingo seemingly will be helping out with the opening of DG's Houston dojo. He will also compete in ROH, more than likely.

K-ness, if he can return at World, will not have a tag with Yoshie there. The 2 hope to tag somewhere down the line though.

Doi has appealed to be the next Dream Gate challenger after 5/7.

Also announced today was the WRESTLE JAM project. This will be a festival of sorts, and will showcase a Japan vs. US vs. Mexico theme. The hope is to show off the different fight styles of DG, ROH, AAA, etc on one show. CIMA mentioned he hoped to perhaps have a ladder match, and have all 4 members of Generation Next over. Overal negotiations about participation are ongoing. This will happen over 5 days:
7/8 Kawagoe Pepe Hall Atlas
7/9 Differ Ariake
7/10 Yokohama Red Brick Arena
7/11 Kira Messe Numazu
7/12 Korakuen Hall

Sorry for making a new thread and losing all the comments. No exact attendance, but reports have the building almost completely sold out. Considering the other competition in Tokyo yesterday, I'd say DG made quite a statement.

21 Apr 2006 - () - Dragon Gate - Ota Analysis Final

8. Open the Dream Gate: Ryo Saito vs. Susumu Yokosuka

The last time DG/Toryumon Japan visited Ota-ku Gym, Susumu was still named Mochizuki, and Ryo still rode bicycles. They were in the semi-final position, Susumu defending his NWA Welterweight title. The belt at that point still meant something, it was still about a year away from being booked into ridiculousness, then becoming the YOSSINO Memorial Title. It was a continuation of a breakout month for Ryo. He was on the winning team in the first ever UWA Trios 3 way match. He went on to beat Susumu and won his first singles title that night. He quickly gained quite a bit of fan support and praise, some people calling him a future top star. It didn't quite work out that way at first. Everyone knows about his treatment when T2P came to Japan, so there is no need ot go into it here. From there, Ryo feuded with the newly heel Genki, and spent most of his time as a Seikigun soldier. He saw a few more UWA Trios title reigns, but when it came time for his heel turn at the end of 2002, joining the newly formed Do FIXER, he was already pretty damaged. He fought off injuries and a general low rank in the original Do FIXER. DF was quite a super group in that era. Magnum of course is the unbeatable pillar, K-ness was hitting his peak, and Susumu at this point was steadily ranked higher. He took most of the falls in losses, and he became mainly a H-A-G-E cheerleader. He spent 2004 defending his long-time friend Anthony from the brutal onslaught of Takuya Sugawara and Aagan-Iisou. His meteoric rise in 2005 is just as well documented as his T2P era downfall. He currently reigns as ace of the company, but he is not without his detractors. His match quality has been suspect, and arguably formulaic. His Dream Gate win was rushed, and looked like more of a necessity due to Kishiwadas' injury than it truly being his time. His acceptance as ace is coming around slowly, but requires more caution than was expected.
Susumu can be summed up pretty simply. He chokes. He is very popular, and very good. He simply cannot win the big one though. Taking a look back at his career he has lost just about every high profile match he has been in.
12/2000 Hair vs. Hair to Stalker of all people
Mochizuki vs. Mochizuki, among many other losses to eternal friend and rival Masaaki.
Dream Gate to CIMA
#1 Contender to TAKA

There are many more, of course. Susumu is DGs' Saikyou Bridesmaid. The most recent example was in December, when he fell in the King of Gate finals, to Ryo. That match ushered in the new generation as main event players without a Mochizuki CIMA or Magnum involved. It faired better to the Japanese fans than it did to English speaking US fans. It was a very important match, but showed the growing pains that the SaiRyo Era faces.
It feels very early to do this match again. It was pretty well known that they would come back to this match this year, but why only 4 months after the last? Neither side can afford to lose.
Ryo losing would damage his credibility considerably. If he is to be an effective ace, he has to remain champion most of this year, make several convncing defenses, and defeat the dancing man before he passes the belt on.
Susumu will always be popular, and he will always certainly be seen as a threat. However, how many more big losses can he endure? It seems like make or break time for him, if he is ever going to truly rise to the upper tier.
Fans in both languages have been predicting a draw. It's probably the only safe way to book this, as it sets them up to return to it for the end of the year. There Susumu can finally get his big win, without completely destroying Ryo.
If I had to pick a decisive winner here, Ryo is the one with the most to lose. He, much like Yoshino in the Brave Gate match, has to win this. He has to go on and defeat Magnum at World. Then we can begin to settle on a successor.
WINNER: Ryo Saito

21 Apr 2006 - () - Toryumon - Some participation schedules

Hisamaru Tajima will be starting up with Michinoku Pro soon, running a limited schedule there around his noodle business. Banana Senga will also be doing at least limited duty in MPro until DRAGONMANIA in Mexico.

Guillermo "Chango" Akiba will also be staying in Japan, to compete for K-Dojo in their K-METAL league. Seems he directly petitioned TAKA, and impressed him in an exhibition match somehow.

21 Apr 2006 - () - Dragon Gate - Ota news, Tenryu out

Due to an injury suffered yesterday, Geni'chiro Tenryu has been forced to pull out of Ota. The updated card:

4/23/2006 Tokyo, Ota-ku Gymnasium
1. 8 Man Tag Match: Akira Tozawa, Daniel Mishima, Michael Iwasa, The Turboman vs. Anthony W. Mori, Super Shisa, King Shisa, Katsuo

4. Japan's Lightest Wrestler vs. Japan's Heaviest Wrestler: Stalker Ichikawa vs. Yutaka Yoshie
5. Tag Match: Magnum TOKYO, Masaaki Mochizuki vs. Dragon Kid, Keni'chiro Arai
6. Open the Dream Gate #1 Contender Match: Shingo Takagi vs. BxB Hulk
7. Blood Generation Unit Name Decision Tag Match: CIMA, Don Fujii vs. Naruki Doi, Gamma
8. Open the Dream Gate: Ryo Saito vs. Susumu Yokosuka

20 Apr 2006 - () - Dragon Gate - Ota Analysis Part 4

7. CIMA, Don Fujii vs. Gamma, Naruki Doi

The match with the most eyes on it. The face of DG will change regardless of the result, along with the future of no less than 8 wrestlers. The reasoning behind the split, as Doi claims, is due to 2 handshakes. Fujii shaking Kandas' hand in March, and CIMA shaking hands with DF in the US. Due to that perceived show of weakness, CIMA and Fujii were considered no longer necessary. The important part of that statement is the fact that Shingos' name is not part of it. He represents Blood just as much as anyone in the group due to his overall character. What role will he play? Naoki is sure to make his presence felt here, even if just as an intruding second. Kishiwada is also still casting an overweight shadow over all these proceedings, is this the place for his return?
Either side winning will produce an identity crisis for Blood Generation. CIMA is Blood is CIMA. It's his unit as much as CMAX was. His group is very weak though, and would not carry the tradition of Blood strongly. The recent aid given to Stalker, and his friendship with Evans almost surely looks more like Waku Waku Fujii Land again more than the group that terrorized DG in 2005.
The Doi unit is much stronger and represents Bloods' various principles well. However, seeing someone like Gamma lead it is like seeing Magnum leading M2K in 2002, it doesn't fit right. Doi has been carrying the MC battles, and is probably better suited for the leader role, but still seems a ways off from being able to assume the position. Kishiwadas' inability to talk will forever handicap him from being leader as well. A stronger group with poor leadership, for sure. This is why this decision is so mind bending. Either side winning seems to produce a glaring fault more than a strength. The Doi side has much better heel potential, so them keeping the Blood name is probably the right decision.
WINNER: Doi over CIMA.

19 Apr 2006 - () - Dragon Gate - Ota Analysis Part 3

6. Shingo Takagi vs. BxB Hulk

The winner is the next Dream Gate challenger, on 5/7. If match 4 represented the past of Dragon Gate, this match surely is the future. They had a very well received match in the King of Gate tournament, that finally made a lot of people believe in Hulk a bit. Shingo is still miles ahead of Japans' most manicured wrestler in skill. His 2 year mark will come this year, so we really can't call him a rookie anymore. Still, his progress remains staggering. Hulk on the other hand has just recently began to rise in rank. He has built up an impressive streak of victories this year. His biggest fall is over Don Fujii, though. Shingo has pinned Mochizuki and took Ryo to his limit, again showing the difference between the 2.
Much like Ryo vs. Susumu at the first Ota-ku show, this is a glimpse of the main event future. With Tozawa going down the path he chose, and Katsuo still very much a rookie, this generation belongs to Shingo and Hulk. You could argue that Naoki belongs in with this era, but his Toryumon X origin and 3 years of experience put him in a grey area. Much like Ryo was with T2P, he is the bridge more than a true member. Naoki could still make his presence felt, as this is one match where his "something" could come to fruition. Will he intrude here?
The match itself I think is pretty predictable. Hulk has been on a huge wining streak, but is yet to defeat Shingo. Shingo is distracted by the Blood drama, even having to receive help from Hulk recently. Shingo has already challenged for the Dream Gate. Shingo is returning to the US in the coming months, possibly for an extended stay. The deck is stacked way against him. Hulk will win this. What happens after is where the drama lies. Shingo hasn't accepted Hulk as a peer yet. Any post match respect has ended with Shingo attacking Hulk and leaving him laying, or verbally abusing him. Will Shingo finally recognize Hulks' rank?
WINNNER: BxB Hulk

Some random notes to toss out also.

The current issue of Weekly Pro lists match 2 as Genki vs. Naoki. There hasn't been an official announcement about a card change yet, so it's being dismissed as a typo for now. Spoiler perhaps?

A new student may be set to debut soon, by the name of Takeshi Sato. Apparently he is another ikemen style wrestler, resembling NJPWs' Hiroshi Tanahashi in look/hairstyle. He has been wrestling Katsuo in exhibitions.

19 Apr 2006 - () - El Dorado - Milano in Japan

18 Apr 2006 - () - Dragon Gate - Ota Analysis Part 2

5. Revolution Special Match: Dragon Kid, Geni'chiro Tenryu vs. Magnum TOKYO, Masaaki Mochizuki

The token novelty match. Kid appealed for this match himself. He has recently stated he hopes to train with Tenryu to help him grow as a wrestler. By now we have all had those images of DK adding a perm wig to his mask and following the Deja Vu with a really low angle power bomb, so I can skip that. Magnum and Mochi have found themselves on the same side of the card quite often this year. Former eternal rivals, and without a doubt still the pillars of Dragon Gate. Their generation has been under an all out assault since the Ryo Saito era began last year. Mochi followed CIMA in falling to the new guard. He has been beaten by Ryo several times, and recently dropped his first fall to Susumu in what seems like ever. After carrying DG as Dream Gate champion for most of 2005, he has began to settle into the background a bit. Magnum continues his transformation into the Revolution character. He now holds 2 pinfall wins over Tenryu, which is more than the rest of the country of Japan it seems. He still remains as the unbreakable wall. He continues to stay out of the main event light, choosing to test his skills in matches such as this. Is this match a sign of what Mochi and Magu will be up to now, or is the old generation beginning to unite?
WINNER: Someone over Dragon Kid

18 Apr 2006 - () - Dragon Gate - Ota Analysis Part 1

Since there isn't much of anything else happening this week, here is part 1 of what may or may not be a full breakdown of the upcoming Ota-ku PPV.

The show itself is the first large venue convention since the 2004 GATE OF LEGEND in Yoyogi (excluding World of course). The last Ota-ku show was in 2001, and really is quite legendary in Toryumon lore. That was the site of the first ABSOLUTAMENTE card. It featured the first golden net cage match, the Japanese introduction of the main T2P players, and a semi-final that will have it's history continued this Sunday. It was a rousing success, drawing 5100 fans, and garnering great reviews by fans, despite a really weak undercard.

This years' card is a mixed bag for sure. The most noticeable thing is the absence of Naoki Tanizaki. Fresh off his heel turn you would think he would be showcased here. Nope, no match. To make matters worse, he has dropped numerous falls on the lead in house shows. He has promised to do "something" at Ota anyway. His actions could make or break several of the matches.

1. Akira Tozawa, Daniel Mishima, Michael Iwasa, The Turboman vs. King Shisa, Super Shisa, Anthony W. Mori, Keni'chiro Arai

Tozawas' new character has been the highlight of DG since it debuted at Korakuen. Mishima and Iwasa should debut their characters here, logically. The Florida Brothers were sealed on 4/14. Will they become the first students of Tozawa-juku? Here's hoping to that. Turboman and King Shisa are making their final appearances before returning to Mexico. Araken will continue his angle with Tozawa here, perhaps tasting one of the secret techniques of Tozawa-juku. Mori and Super Shisa needed something to do, obviously. It's rather odd to place what would be mostly comedy as the pace setter on such a large show. It's a good precedent to set if along with the comedy stylings (which reports have as absolutely hilarious) of Tozawa-juku are actually joined by some real wrestling, which we know Frolida always was capable of, but rarely showed. They have to wake the crowd up, so best of luck.
WINNER: Tozawa over Araken by a Tozawa-juku Secret Technique!

2. Genki Horiguchi vs. Mr. Primetime

No DG fan has complimented MPT. Fans outright insulted Frantz until he (semmingly) got injured. Evans is fine, but the rest of the gaijin are not needed or wanted in DG. That said....we get the Hage war. The halfass angle behind this is we get H-A-G-E vs a Skinhead, which makes it some sort of natural feud or something. This will flatten whatever the opener does, unless God is dwelling for Genki on all levels. Coincidentally, Genki was stuck in a match 2 snoozer with gaijin talent at the last Ota show. He lost to Apache on that show. Genki will probably make it 0-2 in Ota to North Americans.
WINNER: MPT by Frog Splash in like 8 minutes

3. Open the Brave Gate: Masato Yoshino vs. Jack Evans

This is arguably the most controversial match on the card. Evans has gotten nothing short of the Goldberg push in DG, taking the direct pinfall win in every match he has been in (excepting the 12/27 3 way tag). Fans don't seem to care for him, but they have at least been receptive to [dude's name] which is more than most outsiders can expect. Yoshino has been on an absolute tear this year. He has had some astonishing performances v.s. Dragon Kid along with the DG match of the year with Doi, blowing minds in the US. From a guy who was absolute crap as late as October of last year, it's simply remarkable. I would go so far as to call him the 2nd best in DG currently, right behind Doi. Evans needs a good catcher or punisher to be worth viewing in singles. Yoshino did a good job catching Dragon Kid, and has developed some nice impact offenses like the missle kick/chest double stomp thingie in the corner. In theory, he's up to the task. There is no question that Yoshino should win. The Brave Gate tournament was questionable at best; so why job the winner to the new white guy? Doi did a monumental job in 2005 establishing the Brave Gate as a credible title. He carried it all over, making memorable defenses against all comers. Its credibility has been shot since losing the title to DKid, a perfect showcase of typical Toryumon booking. Currently, it resembles 2002-03 era NWA Welterweight more than anything else. I doubt anyone can dispute Yoshino's needed victory if the belt is going to be worth a damn. (Can you tell I had this paragraph proofread?)
WINNER: Yoshino by flash pin

4. Stalker Ichikawa vs. Yutaka Yoshie

Do I really even need to? The only thing it will really prove is that NJPW wrestlers have to leave NJPW in order to be entertaining.
WINNER: Stalker by Avalanche Burning Hammer in 47:10. Or those who hit the bathrooms early to avoid intermission lines.

The rest of the card coming next time.

17 Apr 2006 - () - Dragon Gate - TV Note

As expected, the Blood/Do ROH matches will be getting their own Gaora special. First airing is 5/24. Figured I would point this out to save people some money.

-Onryo, GOEMON, Ricky Fuji, Kyoko Kimura vs. Dick Togo, Mori Bernardo, Antonio Honda, Francesca Applenya
-Hiromi Horiguchi, Guillermo Chango Akiba, Amigo Suzuki, Undetermined Joshi Wrestler vs. Kota Iibushi, Seiya Morohashi, Daichi Kakimoto, Fuka
-Ultimo Dragon, Mil Mascaras, Noki-A vs. TAJIRI, Gran Hamada, Ayako Hamada

I don't see Hajime Oharas' name anywhere, but I would imagine he will be on here somewhere (seeing as how he is the best wrestler the current "Toryumon" has).
Otherwise, the Shanaou is going to be a female under the gimmick. The "Na" kanji is different, representing "Nara", which is a cute play on words.
Francesca Applenya is Apple Miyuki reprising her Italian woman role, hopefully she wears the same dress as last time. I guess this means we won't be seeing K-Dojo wrestlers back in DG this year.
Most importantly though...WOW that's awful.

We'll ignore how stupid and useless that main event is.

Hulk of all people came to aid Shingo during the Gamma Blood beatdown after #4. He received a backdrop for his trouble, though. Could be a development to watch.
The Florida Brothers officially dissolved today. Jackson was upset that Michael and Daniel accepted the character change stipulation without them. Jackson and Johson seemingly will continue as the Super Florida Brothers or some such.

14 Apr 2006 - () - El Dorado - 4/27 Match

The 2nd match for the El Dorado opening show was announced. The final card will be announced on the day of the show.

4/27/2006 Shinjuku FACE, BREAK THE DOOR DOWN
-Kagetora, Takuya Sugawara vs. Touru Owashi, Shogo Jet Takagi
-Shuji Kondo, brother YASSHI, Pineapple Hanai vs. Taiji Ishimori, Kota Iibushi, JKO

JKO is making his first appearance here. Looks to be a new character, not a new wrestler, but it isn't Little Dragon/Yoshitsune. They also mentioned that Hanai will be in his Mexico era image, which as far as I remember wasn't entirely different than his current one.

4/12/2006 Tokyo, Korakuen Hall, 2150 Attendance
1. Naoki Tanizaki{W}, Jack Evans, BxB Hulk (11:37 Casanova) Don Fujii{L}, Shingo Takagi, Masato Yoshino
2. Mr. Primetime{W}, Turboman (11:21 Frog Splash) King Shisa, Jardi Frantz{L}
3. Keni'chiro Arai (6:35 Hanshin Tiger Suplex) Akira Tozawa
4. Stalker Ichikawa (7:05 Ina Bauer German) Michael{L}, Daniel
5. Anthony W. Mori, Dragon Kid, Genki Horiguchi (17:43 DQ due to Ref Attack) CIMA, Naruki Doi, Gamma{L}
6. Ryo Saito, Susumu Yokosuka{W} (24:02 Jumbo no Kachi!gatame) Magnum TOKYO, Masaaki Mochizuki{L}

Busy night. Naokis' assessment match went well for him, pinning Fujii directly. Fujii allowed Naoki into Blood afterwards.
Turbo is now being called Turboman.
Tozawa appeared in a white school outfit. He returned to the kanji spelling of Tozawa, with Akira in katakana. He announced that he was going to start cram school ......
Frolida are now (finally) finished. Iwasa and Mishima will now undergo character changes. Tozawa re-entered here to console Iwasa, giving him a gakuran (middle and high school uniform). Meanwhile it was announced that the super imporant X that Stalker now gets to face is none other than flying fatman Yutaka Yoshie.
The semi-final had the most movement, all of it pretty alarming. Gamma went after Anthonys' hair to cut it, in turn attacking the ref and getting DQ'd. CIMA turned on Gamma here. Yoshino and Naoki also entered here, and along with Doi turned on CIMA! They assaulted Fujii and CIMA, until Shingo made the save. The 4 split from CIMAs' version of Blood, and made a claim on the name. A new match was decided for Ota, CIMA/Fujii vs. Gamma/Doi for rights to the Blood Generation name.

11 Apr 2006 - () - Dragon Gate - 4/11 Yokohama, 4/12 Card

4/11/2006 Kanagwa, Yokohama Red Brick Arena
1. Jack Evans{W}, Mr. Primetime, Jardi Frantz (630) Masaaki Mochizuki, Susumu Yokosuka, Keni'chiro Arai{L}
2. Michael, Daniel (DQ) Magnum TOKYO
3. Naoki Tanizaki{W}, Turbo (Casanova) King Shisa, Katsuo{L}
4. Naruki Doi, Gamma{W} (Blitzen) Anthony W. Mori{L}, BxB Hulk
5. CIMA, Don Fujii, Masato Yoshino, Shingo Takagi{W} (Last Falcony) Ryo Saito, Dragon Kid, Genki Horiguchi, Tozawa{L}

Gamma again hit CIMA with protein. They began to fight after the main, but Naoki intruded and attacked Gamma. CIMA and Naoki shook hands, and CIMA welcomed Naoki into Blood. CIMA, Doi, and Yoshino agreed on this while int he US. CIMA then said he would banish Gamma from Blood and DG tomorrow in Korakuen. Fujii however spoke out against Naoki joining and blocked it. Tomorrows' 6 man tag would be an assessment match for Naoki. Doi said he would call Kishiwada on the phone.

Tonights' Korakuen is not a PPV, but looks to have a huge amount of movement as far as the unit shuffle goes.

4/12/2006 Tokyo, Korakuen Hall
1. Shingo Takagi, Masato Yoshino, Don Fujii vs. Naoki Tanizaki, BxB Hulk, Jack Evans

-Naokis' Blood assessment match. Every other pairing has intrigue as well. Yoshino and Jack have their first preliminary skirmish before Ota. Shingo and Hulk continue the generation war. Not your average opening six man.

2. King Shisa, Jardi Frantz vs. Turbo, Mr. Primetime

-Gaijin showcase

3. Keni'chiro Arai vs. Tozawa

-Tozawa finally earned entry into Final M2K last month, but he refused it. He has been insulting Araken because of his age. He promised everyone he would reveal something here. Will it be the return of dancing Tozawa?

4. Character vs. Character
Stalker Ichikawa vs. Florida Brothers

-The winner gets a spot in the K-ness 10 year memorial at Ota. The loser is forced to change their character. Both acts aren't the most fresh anymore. It's safe to say whoever loses will remein in comedy with their new characters, though.

5. CIMA, Naruki Doi, Gamma vs. Anthony W. Mori, Genki Horiguchi, Dragon Kid

-Blood promises to explode here. CIMA says he will banish Gamma in this match, but Doi has been on the phone with Kishiwada to try and calm things. Will peace be made or will Blood finally splinter?

6. Ryo Saito, Susumu Yokosuka vs. Masaaki Mochizuki, Magnum TOKYO

-The ultimate generation war main event. The signboard holders of the Toryumon Japan age vs. the Dragon Gate top.

10 Apr 2006 - () - El Dorado - Taiji in NOAH

Taiji will be traveling to NOAHs' 4/23 convention to challenge KENTA for the GHC Junior Title. Apparently he has been interested in invading the NOAH ring since attending their SEM offshoot show.

09 Apr 2006 - () - Dragon Gate - 4/9

4/9/2006 Nakano-ku Lions Club Special Event, 1000 Attendance
1. Susumu Yokosuka{W}, King Shisa (12:09 Aikata) Genki Horiguchi{L}, Turbo
2. Dame Zetai Hokushi{W}, Dame Zetai-kun (2:53 Diving Body Press) Stalker Ichikawa
3. Ryo Saito, Magnum TOKYO, Dragon Kid{W}, BxB Hulk (20:00 Ultra Hurricanrana) CIMA, Naruki Doi, Masato Yoshino, Shingo Takagi{L}

Not a full show today, more of an event.
The 2 characters in match were Mochi and one other, not new wrestlers. When I have more time to research I will figure out what they are. For now I will just go on the assumption that it is something very Japanese and not meant to be understood by the rest of us.

09 Apr 2006 - () - Correction

Quick correction to the 4/21 card.

The Ryo/Magu vs. Mochi/Susumu match was the originally announced match. Magu appealed to have it changed yesterday, so it is now:

Ryo/Susumu vs. Mochi/Magu

Another 2 matches for the big Ota-ku show were added today. Generation rivals Shingo and Hulk will clash yet again. Shingo has overpowered Hulk on all occassions thus far, but Hulk has been on a good streak lately.
