02 Sep 2006 - () - Dragon Gate - Battle of LA Participation

CIMA defeated M-Dogg20 via Schwein, and Dragon Kid defeated Quicksilver via UltraHurri. Shingo, with full cast, along with Commisioner Kido were also in attendance.
Genki won on night 2, defeating Chris Hero via Backslide. He apparently will be going under the ringname "HAGE" for the remainder of his PWG stay.

On night 3
CIMA advanced through to the finals, beating Kevin Steen with the Dos Caras Clutch, then beating El Generico in the semis. He had to break out the Schwein Redline, which means now apparently El Generico = Susumu and Ryo.
Kid and HAGE lost their 2nd round matches, Kid falling to Roderick Strong, and HAGE to Jack Evans.
CIMA eventually lost in the finals, to Davey Richards.

28 Aug 2006 - () - Dragon Gate - 8/28 Live Gate

8/28/2006 Hyogo, ASUTA LIVE FACTORY (SITE-KOBE)
1. Masaaki Mochizuki (Sankakugeri) Yasushi Kanda
2. CIMA, Jack Evans{W} (630) Akira Tozawa{L}, Taku Iwasa
3. Magnitude Kishiwada, Gamma{W} (Blitzen) Super Shisa{L}, BxB Hulk
4. Don Fujii (Nodowa Otoshi) Yamato Onodera
5. Ryo Saito, Dragon Kid, Genki Horiguchi{W} (Backslide) Susumu Yokosuka, K-ness{L}, Keni'chiro Arai

CIMA and Evans did a parody of Tozawa-juku today called the "Oshima Educational Institute". They came out in gaku-rans', and mocked the Tozawa-juku school song, adding insults to Gamma and Shisa to it. During the match they did Tozawa-juku moves.

More bad marks for this show, much like the last Live Gate.

27 Aug 2006 - () - Dragon Gate - 8/27 Gate of Adventure

8/27/2006 Kagawa, Takamatsu Symbol Tower 1st Floor Exhibition Place
1. Ryo Saito{W}, Genki Horiguchi (10:42 Dragon Suplex Hold) Yasushi Kanda, Yamato Onodera{L}
2. Masaaki Mochizuki (3:40 Twister) Stalker Ichikawa

5b. CIMA, Don Fujii, Jack Evans{W} (3:52 630) Magnitude Kishiwada, Gamma, Dr Muscle{L}

Another mostly uneventful show. Blood Hearts opened the show by showing off their Triangle Gate belts. Muscle intruded and challenged them for the main, with Fujii in Hulks' place. After the heel chicanery, General Manager Yagi restarted the match with himself as ref.
Evans will be going home now, not returning until the last half of September. He will then remain until the end of 2006.
Elsewhere, Stalker took a page from Don Fujii, and stole Mochizukis' gold and black costume today.

27 Aug 2006 - () - El Dorado - 9/16 Partial Card

9/16/2006 Shin-Kiba First Ring~THE NOT WRONG SELECTION~
-Handicap Match
brother YASSHI vs. Yuji Hino, Jumping Kid Okimoto
-Takuya Sugawara vs. Ken45

Nothing we didn't know already. Ken and Suga had the typical pre-match declarations of victory today. The stipulation is, of course, that whichever side loses is banished from teaming with Aagan-iisou.

Kondo meanwhile surprisingly defended his AJPW Sekai Junior title today, beating Kaz Hayashi with the King Kong Lariat.

Owashi also made a defense of his KO-D Title on todays' DDT show. He pinned KUDO with a power bomb. After the match he announced he was graduating from being a heel, and will now become a babyface....

24 Aug 2006 - () - Dragon Gate - Various

Even though we have known for weeks now, the formal announcements for the Hakata and Korakuen title matches were made.

9/17/2006 Fukuoka, Hakata Star Lanes
-Open the Dream Gate: Susumu Yokosuka vs. King Shisa
-WAR IJ Tag Titles: Masaaki Mochizuki, Don Fujii vs. Masato Yoshino, Magnitude Kishiwada

9/26/2006 Tokyo, Korakuen Hall
-Open the Brave Gate: Masato Yoshino vs. Takayuki Mori

Yoshino is now healthy, so thankfully his injury wasn't a serious, long term one like Doi. The headline on Sportsnavi today pushed his attempt at becoming a 2 crown champion. After hs injury cost MO'z a shot at the Triangle Gate, Yoshino has promised to win the IJ Tag belts to redeem himself.

Hulk made an interesting point on the PSH BBS, that I didn't notice at first. The Triangle Gate is his first title reign. Winning it in Sapporo means he was born and raised in Hokkaido, debuted in Hokkaido, and won his first title in Hokkaido. He also talked about Pos, again discussing the different paths being taken by its members. He promised it would stregthen the unit, and when they do reunite the individual activity would bring them success as a group. The BxB Story is just beginning.

22 Aug 2006 - () - El Dorado - 8/22 BIG TIME CHANGES (Updated)

8/22/2006 Tokyo, Shinjuku FACE ~BIG TIME CHANGES~
1. El Blazer{W}, Kota Iibushi (15:10 El Phantom) brother YASSHI, Ken45{L}
2. Manjimaru (3:53 No Contest) Mototsugu Shimizu
3. Bear Fukuda (5:51 Final Flash!) Milanito Collection a.t.
4. Yuji Hino (13:45 German Suplex Hold) Jumping Kid Okimoto
5. KAGETORA{W}, Brahman Shu, Brahman Kei, Takuya Sugawara (16:48 Ikkitousen) Shuji Kondo, Touru Owashi, Ken45, Shogo Jet Takagi{L}

Suga intruded on the first match, hitting Ken with a black box to lead to the fall. He was still unsure of which side to go with, so he proposed Kondo and KAGETORA have an arm wrestling contest. When Suga wasn't looking, KAGE hit Kondo with a weapon, which caused him to lose. Suga joined up with STONED, but for now it was today only. After the main, he and Ken challenged each other to a singles match on the next Dorado, on 9/16. If Ken loses he will no longer be able to team with Aagan members. If Suga loses he will not be allowed back into Aagan.

Elsewhere on the show, YASSHI brought in the 3rd member of his high school wrestling team, this time it was Yuji Hino. Hino was also on the same team as Okimoto and YASSHI. The flow of the match went pretty similar to the YASSHI vs. JKO match, with lots of yelling and a headbutt battle.
Another interesting tidbit out of this match. Hino apparently was going to enter the Toryumon system at the start of his career, but ended up going to K-Dojo after talking it over with YASSHI. Hino will return next month, to team with Okimoto vs. YASSHI, possibly in a handicap.

Dorado announced 3 shows in the next 2 months, showing a rise in output. They will be 9/16 in Shin-Kiba First Ring, 10/1 in Shin-Kiba First Ring, and 10/31 in Differ Ariake.

21 Aug 2006 - () - El Dorado - 8/22 BIG TIME CHANGES

8/22/2006 Tokyo, Shinjuku FACE ~BIG TIME CHANGES~
1. Jumping Kid Okimoto vs. brother YASSHI Selected Player
2. Bear Fukuda vs. Milanito Collection a.t.
3. Manjimaru vs. Mototsugu Shimizu
4. brother YASSHI, Ken45 vs. El Blazer, Kota Iibushi
5. Shuji Kondo, Touru Owashi, Shogo Jet Takagi, Takuya Sugawara? vs. KAGETORA, Brahman Shu, Brahman Kei, Takuya Sugawara?

Dorado returns to action tonight, with several points of interest. The largest and most obvious is the decision of Takuya Sugawara. Will he reunite with Aagan-iisou, or will he formally joined STONED? He is teaming with Kagetora on upcoming Zero-1 shows, but that doesn't necessarily mean anything in the Dorado scheme of things. Where does Ken45 fit in all of this? He has been aligned with KonBro, and had heavy dissention with Suga last time. Suffice to say all eyes are on these 2, as it will shape the main event feud for the upcoming months.
On the undercard, the YASSHI/JKO sempai feud will continue, as JKO meets the dreaded X. Manjimaru and Shimizu continue their one sided feud. Shimizu has yet to taste pinfall or submission victory since returning, and Manjimaru has beaten him on every Dorado show thus far.

El Blazer (Yoshitsune) was injured during the Michinoku Tetsujin tournament, so his status for this evening is questionable.

MO'z take the lead with 4 points. The Shisa Family get their first 2, while Renaissance stay at 2. DF are pointless after 2 matches.

Araken reprised his large Stalker Ichikawa costume for today. Tozawa-jukus' flag was held together with tape today, after being broken yesterday.

The show ended with Gamma, Mochizuki, and Kanda having a microphone battle. Gamma promised MO'z would sweep the tournament, all by Gamma Special Gekokujoh, which is just a Gekokujoh Elbow.

Yoshino and Kishiwada will be the first challengers to the IJ Tag belts.

12 Aug 2006 - () - El Dorado - Unfortunate foreshadowing?

Zero One MAX released the card for it's 9/9 convention, and one of the matches might be a spoiler for the upcoming El Dorado show.
Kagetora and Takuya Sugawara will be teaming together on that show, which could indicate Suga will be turning on Aagan-iisou to join STONED.
The Suga-Tora combination isn't uncommon for Zero One, and it could just be them failing to work with within Dorado storyline continuity.

12 Aug 2006 - () - Dragon Gate - Schedules

Dragon Gates' schedules for November and December are up. Both look to be eventful. Not a huge amount of shows, but all the usual important venues are hit.
December again features 3 closing Korakuen shows, which will probably house King of Gate 2006.

An added note about Shingo. His return for the big Osaka convention will again be a limited edition return. When he will actually end his US stay is still indefinite.

Blood, MO'z, and Renaissance kick things off with 2 points each.

CIMA jokingly wondered why Fujii was teaming with Renaissance, and also refused to shake his hand during the opening introductions for the league.

MO'z continued to beat up on Shisa Boy after their match. Tozawa-juku intruded here to save, and they appealed for a match, where if they won Mori would get a Brave Gate shot.
After the match itself, Dr. Muscle stole the Tozawa-juku flag. Oyaji, Tozawas' flag bearer who of course never moves or shows emotion, stormed the ring to confront MO'z! He called out Yoshino, basically telling him that if he was any kind of man, he would defend vs. Mori. Yoshino agreed, and the match will happen on the September Korakuen.

Shingo Takagi appeared after all this. He was home on a temporary basis. He announced his formal return to Japan would be the big 11/23 Osaka Prefectural Gym Main Hall big match.

MO'z intruded after the main, and challenges were thrown out for the IJ tag belts, possibly involving a handicap match.

Mochi passed the Final M2K leader torch to Susumu after the main event. Mochi isn't leaving FM2K, but like Magnum with DF, he will be following his own road with Renaissance.

With Magnums' injury, he is done with the Ryuukon 10 Match series with Tenryu. Kanda, Mochi, and Fujii will take his place int he final 5 matches.

*Mocih and Fujii become the 11th champions

The role of Dr. Muscle was alternated between the other 2 MO'z members tonight. Kishiwada in the first match, Yoshino in the second.
Magu and Mochi have a new team entrance theme. The 2 have been associating under the unit name Renaissance, and this could be another step towards making it an official unit.
Match 5 was a mess, with an even messier finish. Kinta kicked Kid after he hit the UltraHurri, flipping Yoshion on top, Kinta then counted down Kid with a high speed count, leading to huge booing formthe fans. Ryo stormed off, absolutely irate.
Magnum suffered an eye injury during their semi-final match, so Fujii was chosen to replace him in the finals. He and Mochi received the belts from Tenryu himself.

Magnums' injury is a broken left eye socket, similar to the injury suffered recently by Kensuke Sasaki. His recovery time is put at 2 months, so he will be out of the Triangle Gate league. His replacement will be announced shortly.

Buffalo is injured at the moment, and is one who would seem to be very loyal to Osaka Pro, so we shall see. No exact date was given for the arrival.
