Some clarifications - 28 Feb 2011
I have updated the 2/27 results a bit. Looking at them, the rules of the new elimination match become a lot clearer.

There is no set time limit for when an eliminated participant can return to the ring. For them to be able to return, their team has to eliminate one of the opposing team. There are 2 ways to win, either by wiping out the other team, or via having more active team members at the end of thirty minutes.

Hope that clears things up a bit.
WORLD-1 will get the next Triangle Gate shot, at Sumo Hall. Barring a mid-March change, this means no Brave Gate defense for the second straight PPV.

BW attacked Susumu after his win over Candy, prompting a save from the Veteran group. They argued to build up the elimination match.

Yoshino celebrated his win, which made W1 undefeated on the night. He promised they would carry the momentum through to the 3/4 elimination match.

More arguments after the the elimination, building up to Gamma vs Mochizuki n Korakuen. Doi has also been calling out Arai for a singes match down the line.

Post main event, it looks like W1 has their name thrown in for the Triangle Gate.

The 2nd issue of the English language DG Web Magazine quietly went up on FujiSan. You can get it here:

http://www.fujisan.co.jp/magazine/1281691472/

To navigate, use this tutorial:

http://www.gaora.co.jp/dragongate/release/webmagazine_en.html

Issue 2 covers the run up to GATE OF DESTINY, and of course includes a big feature on the big show itself.

Issue 3 has been translated and submitted, and I am working on #4 as we speak.

As an aside, I realize it is hypocritical of me to ask this, since this entire fandom and community was created by and is almost 100% reliant on bootlegging and piracy, but here it is.

I have seen issue #1 show up on some torrent sites and forums. Please don't upload these. I am literally the only person who works on them. If no one buys them, then it would no longer be a viable endeavor. I am not saying from the "food out of my mouth" aspect, I'll be hungry regardless. If this project goes under due to lack of support then there probably will not be more like it in the future. Show your support and buy the damn thing. It's only $5 and you get it instantly.
2/20/2011 Okayama, Okayama Wholesale Center Orange Hall - 880 Attendance

5. CIMA, Dragon Kid{W}, Ricochet (19:00 Ultra Hurricanrana) Masato Yoshino, BxB Hulk, Susumu Yokosuka{L}
NOSAWA Rongai has been removed from the 3/1 Korakuen show due to his arrest. He was arrested for allegedly stealing a taxi. He had no drivers license, to make things worse. He was also probably very drunk. He has claimed innocence, naturally.

A replacement has not been announced yet, but will be shortly.

CIMA will be on the 3/2 K-DOJO show in Shin-Kiba 1st RING. He was scheduled to be in a 6 man with TAKA & NOSAWA (with the team name Los Tres Pendejos) vs. Kaji Tomato, Taishi Takizawa, & Marines Mask. This will probably change as well.

The annual spring big event was confirmed today. DEAD or ALIVE will once again be on 5/5 from Aichi Prefectural Gym.

5. YAMATO, KAGETORA{W}, Cyber Kong (18:13 Kagenui) CIMA, Naruki Doi, Ricochet{L}

Gamma interference lead to the Tanizaki count out win. Tanizaki boasted after Gamma beats Mochizuki in Korakuen, that he would also easily capture the Dream Gate. They would then treat the Shizuoka fans to a Gamma vs. Tani Dream Gate match when they return to this venue...

Hulk was also on the Kensuke Office show in Tokyo today. He teamed with Fujita Jr Hayato from Michinoku Pro. They battled Kengo Mashimo from K-DOJO and KO rep Katsuhiko Nakajima to a 30 minutes draw.
I don't know why I am giving this main page coverage, but it is newsworthy, I guess.

Youhei Fujita, who competed for DG under the name RYOMA will be returning to pro wrestling on 2/13, for Apache Pro Wrestling. He will be teaming with Osaka Pro champion Kuga. Fellow upstanding citizen and moral pillar Kintaro Kanemura made the announcement this morning. His identity was originally hidden behind the usual "X". Kanemura said: "X for the 2/13 main event is someone you may remember. He was once a great prospect for another company, Youhei Fujita".

For those that don't remember...

For starters, consider yourself lucky. RYOMA was one of the main players behind the animal abuse scandal in 2009. He left DG and pro wrestling at the end of that year, since no one ever wanted to see his face again. Amazing.

Kanda, Saito, & Horiguchi attacked Kamikaze after match 4. Saito taunted them about the elimination match next month, asking them who they found to be their 4th. YAMATO said they didn't need a fourth and they would win 4 on 3.

Gamma congratulated Mochizuki for toppling Lee. He then said Mochi could celebrate becoming the #1 contender after he beat him next month in Korakuen, in the real #1 contender match....

So....CIMA welcomed PAC into BW, as the stipulation for the main stated. However, Ricochet blocked it. He said that he didn't like PAC, and that HE was the best high flyer in the world. CIMA, for whatever reason, left the decision up to PAC. PAC said his heart belonged to W1, and he didn't want to join BW. CIMA said OK, despite the stipulations from the main event. He then asked Ricochet he had anything else to say. Ricochet made a challenge to the Brave Gate. PAC agreed for next month in Korakuen. PAC remains with W1.

CIMA then turned to Susumu. He had a challenge for K-neSuka, but since K-ness was injured, Susumu could choose his partner. He had opponents for them, calling out ..... TAKA Michinoku & NOSAWA Rongai as new BW assistants. They exchanged words with Susumu, who chose Hulk as his partner. The former Veteran Army came out at this point, and Mochizuki argued with TAKA. In the end, Mochizuki & Araken threw themselves in to the mix, making it a 3 way for next month. Hulk/Yokosuka vs. Mochizuki/Araken vs. TAKA/Rongai.

The Korakuen card for this week isn't new, but I forgot to repost it to the main page.

The unit war declared by CIMA will manifest in a new match type. The Defeated Revives Survival Elimination match. The rules for this match are:

-4 vs. 4 format. Teams for the upcoming matches will be decided when the matches draw closer.

-Eliminations can be done by pin, submission, & over the top rope

-When someone is eliminated, they are only out of the match for a short period of time. When that time period expires, they can return to the match.

-If a team has multiple eliminations occur before the revival period expires, they can only choose one person to return until the next period ends.

-Obviously, the first team to eliminate all of the opposition is the winner.

-If that doesn't happen, the matches have a strict 30 minute time limit. At that time, a points system will be used to determine the winner.

Gamma and Candy (the new nickname for Yasushi Kanda) mocked the general existence of KAMIKAZE after the opener. Candy said they were essentially worthless and should just go away. Gamma said he was probably being a little harsh, but it was true. CIMA then taught the fans how to chant "Candy". CIMA then called out Brodie lee so he could beat up Kotoka & Shenlong.

K-ness appeared to be injured after match 4. He had to be stretchered out, with what looked to be a shoulder injury.

Saito and Horiguchi celebrated their title win. CIMA then called WORLD-1 and KAMIKAZE out. Blood Warriors declared war on every unit, promising to crush all of them (including the pseudo Veteran army of Mochizuki, Fujii, Shisa, & AraKen). CIMA said today marked the beginning of a new all out unit war.
