As you can see by the lineups, DGUSA rep AR Fox will be joining up at the start of the next series. He will be staying through until the next set of DGUSA shows in September. Rich Swann will also be staying until then.

As for the Brave Gate situation.....Since Naoki is in possession of the title belt, BW have named Metal Warrior the belt commissioner. They will be holding defenses under their own BW Brave Gate banner while PAC is back in England. PAC has entrusted fellow JIII member Swann to get the belt back.
Follow us on Twitter for some photos from the Kobe World weekend.

Sorry for the late results, I was totally off the grid while in Kobe.

After the opener, both units came out for a confrontation in the ring. They were kept apart by a rope in the middle. At the end, Kzy demanded another rap battle with Swann. Swann ether'd him again.

While the official finish to match three was Takayama over Tomahawk, it was actually the triple Ina Bauer, Nice, Everest German simultaneous German Suplex finish we hoped for on the podcast.

The Triangle champion team finally regained possession of their belts. They rejected BW as the next challengers, and instead will take one from within JIII for Sambo Hall on 8/14.

President Okamura came out for his customary speech after intermission. He didn't say much of note, mostly talking reaffirming the DG position as a Kobe based company as they expand worldwide.

At the same time, the video screen displayed the date for the next PPV. The annual GATE OF DESTINY from Osaka will occur in October this year, on 10/16.

The new champions shook hands and made peace with PK-1 after the match of the night. PAC & Kid returned the favour, and put the belts around CIMA & Ricochets' waists. That is where it ended, as BW attacked. Tanizaki stole the Brave Gate belt, and said since PAC was heading home for August, he would be the champion in his place.

I'll have some pictures and such tomorrow. Totally exhausted now.
I am heading to Japan this morning. I don't anticipate much news between now and World, but updates will be sporadic. I am also not sure what my twitter situation will be like so real time status for World is up in the air. I will post again when I have a better idea.

If you will be at World, please send me an email or Twitter message.

Joel & I are back today with our latest podcast. After some technical difficulties last night we had to do a new recording today. The show ended up much better for it. The topics we hit today include Osaka & Korakuen from this past week, a World preview, some talk about the Summer Adventure Tag Tourney, a bit of DGUSA discussion, my Japan trip next week, and more!

We come in just a bit over an hour this time, so hopefully it wont be as grueling as the last one...

Dpo attacked Yoshino after match two. He stole his Triangle Gate belt.

CIMA announced he would be boycotting the Summer Adventure Tag Tournament. Don Fujii of all people took exception to this, saying it is not a professional act from CIMA. The argued for a while about Fujii being old and CIMA questioning his reasons for staying out of the unit fight to help the rookies. BW then attacked rookie Yosuke Watanabe on their way out.

YAMATO boasted about pinning Tozawa, and told him he should probably go back to the US for another 10 years or so. Kong jumped him, allowing Tozawa to hit him with the Package German. Kzy counted a mock pinfall. Kong then absconded with YAMATOs' Triangle Gate title belt.

Hulk mocked Takagi, and swore his mighty kicks would fell all in his path en route to his championship win in Kobe. Mochizuki basically told him he still sucked at giving post victory speeches. BW left.

JIII then discussed the tag tournament. It looks like Takagi & Yokosuka, Yoshino & Kid, and Mochizuki & YAMATO will be the JIII teams.
We will be recording our second podcast on Friday night. We will be discussing the Korakuen show from that day, previewing World, and more. If you have any questions or comments, please send them to dgusa1 at gmail dot com.

Blood WARRIORS win 3-2, and sweep the World preliminary skirmishes.

The vulgarly named finisher from the opener is an Implant/Impact combo. After the match, Ichikawa informed the BW team they would be in a 6 man at World with them. Tanizaki, Kzy, and Tomahawk vs. Fujii, himself, and .... Yoshihiro Takayama! Fujii asked Stalker if Takayama knew about it. Stalker said he sent him an email, he should be there.
