KING OF GATE is an annual tournament. It replaced the Toryumon El Numero Uno
league as the yearly series to determine the strongest singles fighter. The
first year saw the entire roster participate, but it has since been trimmed
to a more standard 16 person field. There was no tournament in 2009. It was
postponed due to the outbreak of Generational Warfare that year. The 2010
installment was moved to April from December.
