29 May 2009 - 16:48 - Apology from Shingo
Paraphrased again where the direct translation is confusing:

"I would like to personally apologize.

I apologize for the misunderstanding caused by the photos of Cora posted to my blog.

For the uncomfortable feelings and trouble caused, I am very sorry.

Everyone is worried, but Cora is doing very well now, the above photo was taken a few days ago.

Though this is my own blog, I wanted to show an image of a healthy and happy Cora.

For causing our fans such great worry, I am truly very sorry.

Shingo Takagi"

From http://spora.jp/takagishingo/archive/961/0

29 May 2009 - 12:59 - Official Statement regarding the Cora Situation
I'm going to paraphrase a bit in some spots, but for the most part this is just translated from the Gaora BBS. My own thoughts and additional information at the end.

"Thank you very much for your continued support of Dragon Gate.

One of our rookie wrestlers made an unofficial blog detailing incidents regarding our pet monkey Cora, detailing them from the monkey perspective. We received many inquiries about the abuse mentioned in the blog. We apologize respectfully for causing such a great concern and worry.

To confirm the facts gathered from our staff and roster. Cora has lived at our gym for many years. She is raised and cared for by our rookies and trainees, and is cherished and loved. The cruelty to animals allegations on the internet were investigated and no evidence was found.

The offensive blog posts have been deleted. Cora is now living with foster parents to ensure safety and remove fears of her conditions.

The company will continue to investigate to uncover further facts and information, in hopes of eliminating any further doubts and recover the trust of our fans.

The wrestler responsible for causing all this confusion has been disciplined for an indefinite amount of time. Further, President Takashi Okamura accepts responsibility for these events and will incur both disciplinary action and a reduction in pay."

http://www.gaora.co.jp/cgi-bin/bbs/dragon/news.cgipost #1901

The offending player and the person behind the blog that started this entire series of events was RYOMA. He was keeping a blog from the perspective of Cora, and discussed all of the various allegations of abuse that are out there now. The blog was deleted immediately after it was discovered.

Regarding the official blog posts from Shingo and Araken, neither of them were involved in the incidents detailed by RYOMAs' blog. While the choking photo is inexcusable, the post itself details an incident where Cora escaped and attacked people, and had to be restrained.

Cora has lived at the gym since the early Toryumon days, and alongside Momo the dog she has been an idol and mascot for the gym. She is now staying with the parents of a roster member and will be cared for properly. Hopefully the healing process over this whole ugly ordeal can begin now.

EDIT: An additional postscript I neglected to mention. Also mentioned as an active participant on the RYOMA blog was a dojo boy known only in this situation as "Nao-chan". Presumably he is also among the punished. He is, from what I understand, the person choking Cora in the photo.

Yoshino will face Doi for the Dream Gate on 6/11 in Korakuen.

Continued trouble within RH today. YAMATO mistakenly hit Kanda with the blue box, leading to the loss. Kanda argued and attempted to usurp leadership, and then Ryo hit YAMATO from behind with the blue box. Things were diffused though, and the parties agreed to hopefully cool off while YAMATO does his NJ tour.

29 May 2009 - 00:45 - Cora
I will talk about the Cora situation soon, but for now I am waiting for the official statement from the office. There are a lot of misconceptions going around that hopefully can be cleared up very shortly.

Rest assured the guilty parties will be punished for their actions.

The "boss" a tiny giant with a love for fishing and pachinko.
The last is a Rock and Roller. No other hints necessary. He will perform live as well.

Kid and Shingo will be the next Twin Gate challengers.

Gamma used a chair to lead to the finish of the main, so Yoshino asked straight away for a rematch from the same W1 team.

Both title matches have already been confirmed for Nagoya on 6/7.

-Arai (25:45 Firebird Splash) Gamma
-Takagi (31:11 Pumping Bomber) Arai

Due to Iwasa being injured, Kenshin asked to replace him in the main. Takagi also invoked Iwasas' spirit, hitting a Noshigami on Arai before the last lariat.

Yosihno made his anticipated Dream Gate challenge after match four. However Gamma intruded here, since he had already appealed himself. They will face off to determine the next challenger, but it seems to be only for the next Korakuen, not World, for now.

Shenlong was all over this show. He attacked CIMA after match one while CIMA was seconding RYOMA. Then he intruded on the semi, attacking YAMATO. He lost his mask again during his proper match, but was masked at all other times. He took a beat down from YAMATO and Cyber after YAMATO lost. The match itself was messy and a lot of RH friendly fire lead to YAMATO losing.
