-Shisa BOY, Kabuki Kid, Tadanobu Fujisawa vs. Sakigake!, 504, SUSUMU

....and for the most anticipated match of September. CIMA & Ricochet traveled to Shinjuku FACE for the Tokyo Gurentai produced Tokyo Love II ~ Another Chance~ show. They launched the first chapter in the Blood WARRIORS vs. Brahman Twins Great Tokyo War with the Shu & Kei Sato in a hardcore rules tag match. The Spike Mohicans survived the traditional Brahman style fight, which included weapons, buckets, mannequins, bloodshed from CIMA, and, of course, zombie slime to prevail, CIMA pinning Kei with the Meteora. CIMA, after making sure Ricochet was still alive, said that in his 34 years on this Earth and 14 years in pro wrestling....he lost his virginity today. Yep. Hope this one makes TV.

6. No Rope No DQ: Akira Tozawa (21:33 Package German Suplex Hold) YAMATO

Rich Swann was in full Stalker cosplay today, wearing a white Ichikawa style costume.

After match two, Tozawa again complained about the rules of the main event. He said a match such as this isn't real pro wrestling. BW doesn't need foul play or weapons, they are their own weapon. YAMATO & Yagi weren't moved by his speech.

PAC regained his Brave Gate belt. He was promptly challenged by Horiguchi disguised as a Metal Warrior. He said, quote, "HEY PAC! Who's next challenger? YOU GO TO HELL!". He also said he wouldn't need any ridiculous 2 count rules to win.

BW once again belittled K-neSuka & AraIwa after their match. He said they showed them the difference between top level wrestlers and common trash. He then turned to Kotoka and advised him that he shouldn't strive to be like the trash team.

KAGETORA taunted Kong after his win. He said he would do the same in Osaka, leading to Kong losing his mask. Kong told him he was an idiot, since he wouldn't be able to win via Kagenui in the cage. He said KAGE would be the one losing, and Kong would make sure of it, Yoshida Style!

Mochizuki saved Tozawa the trouble of challenging him for the Dream Gate. Instead, he nominated Tozawa himself. It was set for Korakuen next month on 10/13.

Also made for 10/13 will be Shingo vs. Brodie Lee in a CIMA requested "True Power Fighter" decision match to find out who the most powerful man of them all is.

The YAMATO vs. Hulk No Rope No DQ match was signed for the 11/11 event. It will be non title.

Gargano challenged YAMATO to a title match on the final DGUSA show of the year on 11/13. However, Chuck Taylor decided to use the match booking rights he won last night to make a title match for himself on 11/12. Rich Swann appeared to be stuck between both his Ronin stablemates, and his loyalties to Ronin and Junction Three.

At this point, Kikutaro came out. Mochizuki asked to know what match 2 would be. Kikutaro said he would be fighting in the match. Mochizuki liked the idea, and proposed he fight ring announcer Naoto Kikuchi in a Kiku vs. Kiku battle. Kikutaro said no, he would be fighting the invisible man. Labour Day Weekend 2011 Podcast - 05 Sep 2011
Joel & I return today with a mammoth podcast, discussing a huge range of topics. This show was cursed. We first attempted to record back in mid-August, and it resulted in a terrible show that feature many environmental sound effects due to my open door. Then we tried last weekend and somehow lost the entire middle portion. Diligent as ever, we are finally back tonight. We talked for what ended up being a really long time. I know this was a complaint about the first show, and since this one is even longer, I will provide some times so you can skip to the subject matter you are most interested in.

0:00 - 43 minutes is an August recap, and a look at the charity shows of the coming week, along with all the side stuff related to them.

From the 43 to 75 minute mark, we talk the DGUSA weekend. We run down the lineups and give our "expert" opinions.

From 75 to 94, we move back to Japan for the various freelance fun for the coming month, a 9/16 Korakuen mini preview, and more on the general road to GATE OF DESTINY.

Finally, from the 94 minute mark until the end, we talk Dragon Gate UK and the monstrous lineups they have in store for UK fans in October.

So, have at it. Listen, enjoy, spread the link everywhere. Feedback is always welcome at dgusa1 at gmail.com.

As has become the norm after he loses, Tozawa sneak attacked KAGETORA right after the match and gave him the Package German. CIMA went to count a mock three count, but Kid jumped in for the save....

There was a big brawl after the semi-final with KAGETORA & Tozawa jumping in with the match participants.

Gamma demanded an immediate rematch. Mochizuki had his name thrown into the challenging team. Kzy demanded that Swann also join in. It looked like it would happen at the next Sambo Hall show on 10/2, but Doi declined and made the match non-title. He also announced the next Doi Darts game would happen there. Doi Darts has its' own t-shirt now, by the way.

But, the biggest news out of the show was the main event for GATE OF DESTINY on 10/16. It will not be a Dream Gate title match as normal. Due to all the fighting and brawling and general disorder, GM Yagi made the latest installment of the Hair vs. Mask 6 way cage match. The six participants will be: Tozawa, Hulk, Cyber, YAMATO, Takagi, KAGETORA.
