After brief stints in the Michinoku Pro & New Japan
dojos, Susumu landed in Toryumon where he debuted as a third term student.
Susumu first broke out as a member of the legendary original M2K unit. He
quickly gained a reputation as a masterful ring technician. Also a
proficient tag wrestler, he has been a part of many famous teams like the
M2K combo with Yasushi Kanda, K-neSuka with K-ness, & RyoSuka with Ryo
Saito. Susumu has lost his ring name twice. The first time was vs. Masaaki
Mochizuki in the infamous 2001 Mochizuki contra Mochizuki match. He had to
change from his real name to Susumu Yokosuka. Always prideful of his
hometown, he embraced the change. In 2011, he & KAGETORA lost a Twin Gate
contra Jimmy match, forcing him to change to Jimmy Susumu. The Jimmy name is
a play on the Japanese word jimi, which means plain or boring. Undeterred,
he admitted that while he may be a bit plain outside the ring, he would
continue to be just the opposite inside of it.
